Rough few days

Man oh man you should feel sorry for my Dad. Mom and I have had the stomach flu since EARLY Sunday morning. Things have not been good for him. Mom was really sick. The doctor said if she was not any better by Sunday night/Monday morning they were going to put her in the hospital for fluids and to be put on a fetal monitor. Thank goodness the medicine Sunday afternoon helped--she stopped throwing up all the time. Me, I only threw up twice but one time was right on Mom. I hope I did not make her sick. I don't think I did, it was just bad timing. Dad was fine--he never got sick at all. What a great Dad.

Both Mom and Dad were off Monday--something about coworkers appreciating not spreading bugs. I don't get it Mom and Dad don't have bugs but grownups they say weird things. Mom tried to go back Tuesday but they said she was still so pale they sent her home. She sure has slept alot these last few days. She looks and sounds much better to me though. We played alot tonight and she is off work until Friday so I am sure she will be better then. I will try to let her rest SOME before then. Dad has really played great with me. He is my best friend. Tonight I called him Captain Jack. I hope he knows how special that is.

Sorry no pics tonight just an update! Tomorrow just might be another Jammie day for me. Just call if you want to play!

Jammie Day

Today is Friday and Mom announced we have no where to go and nothing to do. WAHOOO! She asked me if I wanted to stay in my jammies all day and play with my new toys and do nothing with her. This sounds great to me. So we played and played and played.

Last Stop, Mamaw Logsdons

Our last Christmas adventure was to Mamaw Logsdon's house. Mom was kind of sad going there. She cries every time we pass St. Thomas. Maybe one day I will understand why. She perks up before we get there though. Dad and I were exhausted so accidentally fell asleep right before we got there. Mom left us snoozing in the truck while she went in and ate without us. No worries though--always plenty of food left. We ate and then opened more presents and then blew out candles for Baby Jesus. If you look really closely at the plate you will see 3 cupcakes missing icing and someone (me haha) covered in icing. I wonder what happened there...(Nina you can't get jealous you could do it to if you could get away with it nanynanybooboo). Check out the pics--anyone need a Kodak camera? What a great couple of days!

Christmas Day

So today was Baby Jesus' birthday. We had lots to do, but man the morning started off right! Mom and Dad were not up yet at 9:12am so I started yelling for them. Someone actually had the nerve to shut my door all the way so I could not get out of my room without them hearing. Right after I woke up, Mom was helping me brush my teeth, Dad gets a service call. Nothing fun about those. They usually involve Dad saying something somewhere is broken or some not-so-smart person doesn't know how to read or think for themselves so he has to go help them. Imagine, not being able to read. I already know Mom, Kara, Pirates, and a few others, but I digress. Dad is on the cell phone, so Mom calls in reinforcements--all the grandparents. M&P are the closest so they get there 1st. We start tearing into presents. I can not even list all the great stuff. I think my favorite was either my ballerina music box or my rock star outfit. UNTIL I found the note Santa left. Something about a Barbie Jeep next to Mom's car. I run to the garage to find I have my own Powerwheels Jeep. Only problem is it is too cold to ride it yet. Something else to wait until spring. Plus M&P have to leave to go get ready. I was about to get really disappointed until Nina and Poppie get there and they bring The Granny. Good times again. We play with all my new toys, then Dad (who took care of the problem over the phone) busts out his new favorite toy the Wii. All the grownups play with this thing and I run like a loon between all my stuff. What a great morning. I am leaving you a few of my favorite pics. Enjoy the hair!

Next to Nanny's House

Our next stop was to Nanny's House. Even more LOOT. I read the Christmas Story with Poppie and played Jack in the Box with Uncle Brian. Then we opened presents. Ellie was tired and had to leave before me. I am the big cousin so I got to stay up late. Mamaw had given me so much candy I was still going strong at 2am-- Dad finally wore out, put me in bed and fell asleep beside me. I was still talking when he started snoring. I don't know what his problem was he should have eaten more candy.

Christmas Eve at Granny's

So--how many O'Bryans dose it take to break a couch? If you guessed 7 you would be correct. My other aunt came in sat on the arm of the couch and it broke--boy did we laugh. I am not sure why we laughed but we did. It really kind of scared me. I quickly got over that though because then my WONDERFUL Aunt Mary gave me a guitar with a microphone. I have had a great time playing rock star and I am a great singer. Mom and Dad keep talking about paying her back? I am not sure for what though.

Mamaw and Papaw Come to Visit

So M&P came over for a little while this afternoon for our gift exchange. I GOT A HORSE AND STABLES, I MEAN A HORSE AT A STABLE, NO WAIT I MEAN BOTH. Mamaw gave me a toy stable and play horses and Papaw got me a horse at a stable to play with. Oh I can not wait for spring!!!!! I get to play with this really cool stable until spring then I get to play with a real horse. I am so excited!

Christmas Eve

YEAH, LET THE GAMES BEGIN! Mom has announced that it is Christmas Eve and we are having people over and going places to exchange gifts. I am not sure what exchange means but I know I will be getting some good stuff--she said Mamaw's name. That means baby dolls, barbies, candy, food, on a regular day. I can only imagine what Christmas means--last year it was a play kitchen.

Huricane Karellie

Ok, so Mom called our house a national disaster today. She said "Huricane Karellie" had hit and I was going to have to help clean it up or Santa was not going to fit thru the fire place. She had to be exaggerating, I mean really--has she not seen my all time second favorite movie "The Santa Clause" That big man can fit into some really tiny places. Any way we had lots of toys to pick up and put away. Check the pics below for just a small sampling of our mess--boy did we have a lot of fun!

BUSY BUSY BUSY DAYS

Well, all I can say is it sure has been VERY, VERY, VERY busy at our house lately. First, Ellllieeee came to last Tuesday night. Then Nina came over the same night. She told me we were having a slumber party. This means they got to stay ALL NIGHT LONG! Nina, Ellie and I played really hard in my playroom for a long time, then Elllieee had to go to bed. It was kinda scary for her so my dad, her Uncle Jason, slept with her. They looked so cute. Here is a picture . . . Sorry that picture was too dark. Here is one of me and Ellie eating dinner that night instead.

Christmas With Nina's Family

Today we had all kinds of people over. The Granny, Nina and Poppie, Aunt Kat Uncle Brain and Ellie, and Mike Chris and Sean. So many people, so little time to visit. I tried to equally divide my time between my cousins but those boys were so cute! And then the LOOT! You know, GIFTS, TOYS, GAMES. Oh, I could go on and on but the best things were the baby play set from Aunt Kat, Uncle Brian and Ellie and the books from Nina, then the skates from Mike, Chris and Sean, and the money from The Granny, but the very best thing of all was MY VERY OWN COMPUTER from my Poppie. I can hardly believe it. Mom and Dad play on these things all the time. Now I can be one of the guys too! Needless to say, I will be taking over this blog spot now. I will show those guys how it's done! I have been watching Elllieee's blog very closely for pointers. I think I am almost an expert. Watch out world here I come.
Check out how cute Elllieee is in her Christmas outfit. Oh and the lady in red is my Mom and she is having my brother Kyle. I am already giving him big squeezes. I can not wait for April!

A Child's Point of View

Isn't a child's point of view funny? Don't you wish you could remember the day when a dresser was your main (out of) focus. This was just one of pictures of the floor, ceiling, or half people she took with her camera. They are all great and we will enjoy them forever.

Even this one....

Thank You Kara

Kyle's First Picture

Kyle says hi everyone. See you in April!!

Christmas Tree

Tonight we put up the tree. So many ornaments,
so little time. . .

Went To See Santa

Tonight we went to see Santa at the Jefferson Mall. Kara said we went to his house and she gave him a squeeze. She asked Santa for baby dolls, barbies, horses, and a stable. She did a really good job, she jumped right up into his lap like she had knew him for years. (no crying, screaming, nothing) Kara says that Santa is going home to make her toys. She still likes her frosty she has been playing with him since we brought him home.

Nov 29,2008

We got a new friend last night his name is frosty. Kara was possing him and other friends then taking their pictures. Daddy put the christmas lights on the house on thursday and Kara was ready for Santa. She was going though the adds with mommy and Kara wanted it all. Mostly for herself but every once in a while she would pick out something for Kyle. She was wanting to climb the ladder and help daddy put lights on the house.
