Today we took a lazy morning. We watched tv and just played. Around lunchtime Mom decided we were going to have a picnic in the park. Then she remembered there was a car show at Iroquois Park. We took our lunch and the wagon and off we went. It was awesome. We found Uncle Brian and his car there and talked with him for awile and watched all the awesome cars. Kyle LOVED the old 67-69 Cameros. I liked all the cars. My favorite was the monster truck!
Next was dinner with Aunt Mary, Miss Judy, Mamaw and Papaw. And then off to the Halloween store for costumes. I am going to be a good witch in a purple dress and Kyle is going to be a vampire. I picked the costumes out for both of us of course.
After keeping us out for about 8 hours Mom decided she'd had enough. Dad had asked her to keep us occupied while he worked on the basement. When we got home he was starving. So back in the Tahoe we went and took Dad to Wendy's. Kyle and I ran around there like we had no sense since we were the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday night at 8:30. Mom said something about other people having lives. I am not sure what she meant, but life can't get any better than it already is can it?
Friday Sept 24th
Today is Ms Manda's birthday. We helped trick her for her surprise party today. It was awesome. We got to go to her house for dinner, cake and ice cream. Mamaw and Papaw were even there too!
Monday Sept 20th
Today we had pictures at school. Mom got me up early and we fixed my hair and got Kyle cleaned up and off we went. I did great! My pictures are great even if I do say so myself. Kyle did not want to sit still long enough to have his picture taken by himself. We got some good ones of the 2 of us though. Check them out!
Sunday Sept 19th
Today I got up and Mom was getting ready. I asked her if we were going to Church and she said she had to go to work. I asked Dad if we were going and he said no cause he was not brave enough to go it alone and Nina and Poppie had a wedding they were going to and were busy. SO I decided I was going to work with Mom. I went upstairs brushed my hair and teeth and then put on my pharmacist outfit. Nice sparkling 3/4 sleeve shirt, black pants and black taps. This is how Mom dresses so I figured I should too. Since it was Sunday and Mom and one of her techs go into the pharmacy an hour before it opens to get things caught up and she said I could go with her. I typed prescriptions on the computer and then I checked some and then I wrote some labels for patients and then I cut some receipts. Dad picked me up at 11:45 and then it was off to Papaw's house. Kyle had just been there and he needed to go home for a nap. The rest of the day was just playing, playing, playing as usual.
Saturday Sept 18th
Today is Ellie's birthday. She had an awesome party! Our bouncer was there and Aunt Kat and Uncle Brian had a slide too. Uncle Brian kept putting furniture polish on it so we could slide even faster. Only bummer of the day was how hot it was. I bet I drank 10 cups of kool-aide. Ellie got some awesome presents too. It was great to see all my family there as well. Nanny and Aunt MaryLue and Aunt Carol and Uncle Mike and Aunt Vikki and Courtney, The Granny and Aunt Glenna and Chris and Sean. And of course Nina and Poppie were there too. Miss Diane and Mr. Kenny were there too. So were alot of other people I did not know. It was great.
So I went to Ellie's party to and had a great time playing with Aunt MaryLue. We pushed the Dora car around and the station wagon and went up and down the stairs. It was fun. Friday Sept 17th
So we wake up this morning and take Sis to school. Then Mom and I go and get the car washed and then to breakfast. I loved the car wash. I watched all the cars go thru and kept yelling GO GO GO. I also love waffles from the Waffle House. I can eat 3/4s of a waffle all by myself. BUT then Mom drops me off with Ms Manda and then she has to go to work. She was gone so long and I really missed her. Dad gets home around 7:30 or so and we play. He is so much fun. He loves to play outside and I love the outside and so does Sis. Mom gets home just in time to tuck in me and Sis. It's been another good day at the Roberts' house.
Thursday Sept 16th
WHAHOOO! Today was field trip day. Mom and Dad went too. We got up early and started to get ready and then Mamaw showed up. She watched Kyle for us. But first she had to pack my lunch. I had a pb&j sandwich and chips and a granola bar and cookies and cheetos and a juice box and a little snack cake. I only ate about 1/3 of what was packed and saved the rest for another day. My lunch box is totally awesome. It is princesses of course. Oh yeah, she packed Mom and Dad's lunch for them too.
Once I got to school and checked in all the kids got on the bus. Then we started our long drive. The parents followed behind us in their cars. I liked riding the bus. Once we got off the bus Mom and Dad were there too. AND so was RoRo's dad Brian. Once I saw Brian I forgot all about Mom and Dad. We walked through the cave and then ate lunch and the best part of all was mining for treasures. You should see my pirate treasure box of jewels I found. Then we ate lunch and it was time to head home. I rode home with Mom and Dad cause that bus was just too slow and noisy for me.
When we got home Kyle was sleeping and Mamaw and Papaw were there. I showed them my jewels and told them about my day. Then we put the nasty, ugly, black cover on the pool. Mom kept telling Dad it was too soon to do, but he was not listening. I wish he would have cause the weather man said this week was going to be a scorcher.

Monday Sept 13th to Wednesday Sept 15th
Monday. . .
What long days for Mom and Dad! Monday Mom dropped me off at school and then she dropped Kyle off to Ms Manda and she had to work all day long. She did not get home til 9:30. It was okay though cause Kyle and I got to play at Manda's house. We did not get home until about 8:45. We were tired, hungry, dirty and cranky according to Mom. So they fed us, bathed us and put us to bed. Dad was not too happy today because he has been working on the basement. He is putting in a drop ceiling and somehow it got off line and is unlevel. He is very discouraged. Never fear Mom said to call Poppie talk it through and then fix it. Dad listed and now all he has to do is rent some sort of light level thing and all will be right with the basement again. I can hardly wait--all kinds of room to play! Mom and Dad are still hopeful that the basement will be finished before our visit to Disney World in October.

Both Mom and Dad were gone before I got up today. What a bummer. So Ms. Manda was there and she got me and Sis ready. She dropped Sis off at school and then we went to her house and played again today. Manda has this awesome new puppy named Dino. He is so fast and loves to lick my face. I think he is great! We picked up Sis from school and then played some more at Ms Manda's. Then Mom came to get us. I was so excited! I jumped out of Manda's arms and right to Mom. She was so happy to see us. I have really missed her lately. Manda has had her hands full cause I just keep yelling for my MuMa, MuMa, MuMa. I really really really miss Mom when she works. Anyway when we got home from Manda's Dad had cooked us dinner. Yummy pork chops on the grill and taters too. Then we got baths and went to bed early. Mom and Dad looked tired so we cut them a break and were both asleep by 10pm.
Wednesday. . .
Mom's off! Mom's off! Mom's off! and Dad is still here too. He is going in late cause he had a late night service call. He has really been getting a lot of these lately. He played with me while Mom got Sis ready for school and then they "traded kids". Dad took Kara to school and Mom fixed us breakfast and then I took a nap. She cleaned things up a little while I was sleeping. This does not amuse me at all. I get all my toys placed exactly where I want them and then either she or Ms Manda go and mess them up. Can you believe that? Silly girls. Then it was time to pick up Sis. We decided on the way to go visit Papaw and Granny. We picked up lunch at KFC for all of us and off we went. Granny thinks I am the cutest boy to ever breath. I give her lots of wet slobbery kisses because it makes her so happy! Kara also does things for her too--she picked her some flowers and gave them too her. I think this made Granny really happy. About 3pm I decided it was time to go cause I was tired. In fact, I laid down right in the middle of the floor and said byebye and closed my eyes. Mom took the hint and brought me home to my bed. Sis stayed with Papaw and Mamaw for the rest of the night. I love this cause it means I get Mom and Dad all to myself. Good times!

Sunday Sept 12th
GUESS WHAT? Today was Grandparent's Day! I stayed the night at Mamaw and Papaw's. Early that morning Mom called and said she and Kyle were on their way over. We had eggs, bacon and pancakes for breakfast. Yummy, yummy, yummy. Then it was time to go home and get ready for Church. As we were on our way I pointed out to Mom and Dad since it was Grandparent's Day shouldn't we be going to Church with Nina and Poppie? So we made a uturn and off we went. It was awesome to visit with them at Church and Ellie was there too! Then it was off to lunch at Chili's. All of us kids ordered pizza and fries. Mom and Nina kinda laughed saying something about no fights since it would all be the same. Crazy ladies--Ellie and I still had to try each others food. Next it was home for rest time and then play time. Life is good! Hopefully Mom will get some pictures on here eventually! She has been using her phone and her old camera since hers is getting fixed. I can tell she really misses it. I thing she may have only taken like 40 pictures this month not 400!

Saturday Sept 11th
Praying for all American families today.
Mom dropped my off at Mamaw's on her way to work today and I have worn out Mamaw and Papaw. We played makeover and dress-up and walked around the block and watched tv and read books and played the computer and did so many more things. Dad and Kyle had some father son bonding. Not nearly as much fun as I had a Mamaw's. In fact I think I will just stay the night here tonight and not let the party end.

Thursday and Friday Sept 9th and 10th
Man Kyle and I had a rough couple of days. He was cranky and I was bossy and this was not a good combination. Kyle spent a lot of time on the time out rug and I spent a lot of time in the corner. This is not cool at all. Mom, Dad and Ms Manda say we need to learn to play together or they are sending one of us to one grandparents house and the other to the other grandparents house and they will live in peace. Yeah right. They would be so bored without us. Hopefully things will get better soon. I will try to share and be nice and not bossy if Kyle will not be so mean and rough. I guess time will tell.
And today I made Mom and Dad laugh really hard and I am not sure why. All I did was spill some water on the floor, dry it up with a towel and then ask them if they had a wet floor sign. They busted out laughing but I still don't get why. What's so funny about water on the floor anyway?

Wednesday Sept. 8th
Ok so today Mom dropped me off for school and then Ms Amanda picked me up--and guess what? We went FISHING! I love fishing. I put my worm on my hook and everything. We caught 2 teeny tiny little fish. Tony took them off and put them back in the pond cause they were too small to keep. This made me very happy cause I just like to catch them say hi and then throw them back in.
While we were gone Mom went grocery shopping with Kyle and Papaw.
Mom was sad today cause it was her last day of vacation. Back to Kroger for her tomorrow. I hope she has a good few days at work.

Tuesday Sept 7th
So Mom wakes me up and we get ready and drop Kara off at school. Then we meet Dad at the bank. He and Mom had some papers to sign. Next Mom and I wander around Target for a little while and then we go pick up Kara and meet Aunt Kat for lunch. It was fun--Aunt Kat, Ellie, Emma, Jessica and of course Ava--she is my new friend. I love to hug and kiss her so much. She is a few months younger than me and I think she is great!
Naptime and then outside to play with MaKayla and my day is complete. Mom says I definately need a bath tonight because I smell like a stinky old boy. I love bathtime!

Monday Sept 6th
Okay, so last night when Mom, Kyle and I got home from dropping off Caroline to Julie at the gas station on 245 and Dad had built a fire. Kyle was sooo tired he went to bed but Mom and I joined Dad outside. It was awesome! I got to play and Mom and Dad sat in their chairs and talked. Then Mom had the most awesome idea--city camping. Dad set the tent up, Mom went and got blankets and we camped in the back yard. I loved it! Who needs a lake? I had a fire, walkie talkies, a pool, a bathroom and it was fantastic! Dad and I did not wake up until like 9 this morning. Mom did not sleep all night with us--she went in the house to her comfy bed. She's is a whimp!

Sunday Sept 5th
Well it's Sunday again and time for Church. Dad tried to leave me once aagin in Kid's Church. When is he going to realize that Sis is no longer in my room so he is not leaving me either. Someone I know has to stay with me don't they? Mom says Dad should just sign up for toddler room duty and stay for a month then she will and by that time I will have worked through my issues. We will see. About 1/2 way through Church I started playingn with another little boy and Dad snuck out. When I realized he was gone I threw another fit. I kept asking for a baba a baba and the nursery lady gave me one. I am such a player. I was fine then.
After lunch we went home for naps and then we played outside with our neighbors again tonight. It's great to have such wonderful friends.

Saturday Sept 4th
C-A-T-S, CATS, CATS, CATS GOOOOO CATS! Today UK plays UofL in football and I am confident we will win again. Oh wait we did win again. I love me some Cats! Mom and Dad keep saying that Kyle is going to grow-up and play football for the Cats. I hope so because that means great tix for us!
Well I woke up today and wanted to see my Nina and Poppie. Dad called and Nina said breakfast sounded great. They came over and brought The Granny too. Poppie made us pancakes and bacon and we ate outside. They stayed and we played for a long time and then it was nap time for everyone. We had to be ready for the big game.
We were supposed to go to a party at Nick's house but Dad got a service call and had to go to Somerset. Mom was not happy. The 3 of us watched the game at home. When it was over (and we had our victory) I asked to go see my Mamaw and Mom told me she was at Mamaw Logsdon's. I asked if we could go there. She agreed to my surprise even though it was 7pm. So we packed up our stuff to stay the night and off we went. BUT Mom forgot the pack and play for Kyle. Mamaw has a bed with rails so Mom thought she could just sleep next to Kyle.
When we got there I was delighted to discover that Caroline was there too. We played until really late. It was like 11:15 when Mom said time for jammies and bed. Caroline and I laid down and were watching TV when all of a sudden I heard Mom cry out. She came out of another bedroom and blood was all over her mouth and Kyle was laughing. Turns out Kyle head butted mom and her tooth went through her lip. He also loosened a tooth on the bottom. She looks like she has been beaten up. Kyle had no injuries of course. He is such a brute! For some reason she did not want to get back into the same bed as my rough and tuff little monster of a brother and they were going home. I can't say that I blame her. At this point she said to make my mind up--stay at Mamaw's or go home. Caroline and I decided to go home with Mom and Kyle.
We got home around 12:45 and Dad took one look at Mom's face, laughed and asked Kyle what he had done. Kyle just said abed, abed and Dad laid him in bed. Mom put me and Caroline to bed and she said something about some tylenol on the way downstairs.
Hopefully she will get her camera back soon so we can post some pics.

Friday Sept 3rd
Just another relaxing day for our family. We played, played and played. Dad came home early and we all did outside work getting everything ready for fall. Trimmed bushes, cut the grass or should I say dust bowl, then MaKayla came over and we all played until bedtime. I love my neighborhood and all my friends.
Thursday Sept 2nd
AHHH today is all about me, the Mommy. Dropped Kara off at school and then Kyle and I went to breakfast and then we stopped by Papaw's house for a little while. Then I dropped off Kyle to Ms. Manda at my house and went to have a massage. Came home to a sparkling clean house, changed clothes and then off for play night with Aunt Mary and Miss Judy. Such a nice day! Great way to start my mini-vacation at home. I'm off for 8 days! Yeah! Lots of projects to get done for fall!
Monday thru Wednesday
Not much happening at the Roberts' house this week. Mom and Dad working, Kara at school, and me hanging out with Ms. Manda.
Mom keeps muttering about Walker Wednesday. First Wednesday of the month so it's Senior Discount day and all the old peeps get 10% off their order. Lots of poop questions and vitamin questions for Mom. Also it is actually September 1st so flu shots start today AND everyone got their monthly check. AND the passport audit lady was going to be there and the tech hours were cut back. Mom was not happy about going to work this day. She kept asking people to pray for her. She survived though and is now on vacation with us.
Sunday August 29th
What a jam packed day! Mom and Dad got us up and ready for Church. I was a little on the grouchy side since they would not let me take my baba, blankie and bear with me. I would not let Dad leave me at Kid's Church. He had to stay with me the whole time. After Church Dad went home to finish painting the basement and we had 2 parties to go to.
First was Caroline's party at Aunt Julie's (I call her that cause she is like a sister to my mom not a cousin). the ride down was not much fun because Kara and Mom were fighting. Kara would not stop saying to take me home and Mom kept telling her I am as important to this family as she is. At one point in time Mom actually turned the car around and said ENOUGH KARA WE ARE GOING HOME AND YOU ARE GOING TO BED!. At this point Kara started crying and so I cried too and Mom pulled over. She got out of the Tahoe and put her head in her hands. I think she was praying. When she opened Kara's door I did not know what to expect but it was all good--they made up and we moved on with out any other problems.
We had a great time at the party until I got super tired. I wanted a baba and Mom kept giving me a cup with milk. This did not make me happy so I bit her REALLY, REALLY hard. It bruised her and everything. So she smacked my mouth and sat me in the corner. Then she packed up our stuff and said it was time to go. I think she hoped I would fall asleep in the car. I had news for her though--no baba no nap. Also maybe one day I will stop biting but people really should give me everything I want. I don't know why they wont.
Our next stop was Nanny Donahue's house. It was a surprise birthday party for Bob. It was super fun. I got to show off my swimming skills. Mamaw Logsdon was so nervous because I am only 16 months old and I swim without Mom or Dad or any grown-up with me. I really am a great swimmer. Then we had cupcakes and ice cream and then time for home.
At home Dad showed us all the hard work he and Papaw had done--the basement was completely painted! Ceiling and carpet are all that are left. GO DAD!
Off to bath, bed and baba. Life is good.
First was Caroline's party at Aunt Julie's (I call her that cause she is like a sister to my mom not a cousin). the ride down was not much fun because Kara and Mom were fighting. Kara would not stop saying to take me home and Mom kept telling her I am as important to this family as she is. At one point in time Mom actually turned the car around and said ENOUGH KARA WE ARE GOING HOME AND YOU ARE GOING TO BED!. At this point Kara started crying and so I cried too and Mom pulled over. She got out of the Tahoe and put her head in her hands. I think she was praying. When she opened Kara's door I did not know what to expect but it was all good--they made up and we moved on with out any other problems.
We had a great time at the party until I got super tired. I wanted a baba and Mom kept giving me a cup with milk. This did not make me happy so I bit her REALLY, REALLY hard. Saturday August 28th
So today not much going on---just hanging out at home. Mom is cleaning and Dad is painting the basement. He hopes to have the basement done before we go to Disney World. I hope so too. It is going to be awesome. We picked out a UK theme! Walls are silver and royal blue with a black chair rail and Ms. Amanda is going to recover the couches in black and we have 2 black leather recliners and Dad is putting in a projection tv. It is going to be GREAT when it is finished.
Friday August 27th
Today Mom had a meeting for work and she got off early and had a surprise for me--we were going back to the fair! Mom and Papaw had decided since the arm bands for kids were only $12 for unlimited rides I should ride until I said enough. Kyle and Dad were going to stay home for some father son bonding (Dad rode his bike to the park with Kyle in the trailor and then they played).
SO let the games begin. First the Farris Wheel with all 3 of us and then Mom and Papaw devised a system. Either Mom or Papaw would stand in line for one ride while I was riding the other ride. Man I got to ride everything at the fair twice and I never had to wait. Mom and Papaw are the best! Then it was time for JUNK FOOD. I scarfed down a corn dog and then most of a funnel cake (just wait but in hind site this was not the smartest move). Then off to home. Mom looked supertired so I talked Papaw into letting me stay the night at his house with him and Mamaw.
Well, just as I laid down on the couch after running around for another hour and fifteen minutes I felt the need to puke. I puked corn dog all over the couch, the rug, and the sink in the bathroom. I am so glad I was at Mamaw's house because Mom does not handle puke well at all. She gets all freaked out (side note Dad who always thought he would be bad at puke is great. He gets the washrag, cools you off, keeps you clean, helps you brush your teeth, and get a bath if needed. He is a wonderful dad).
Finally I got clean and settled down and went to sleep. Mom, Dad, and Kyle had a very uneventful night.
