It's been a quiet week so far. . .

Well, not much new is going on at my house. It was a crazy weekend so we are "taking a few lazy days" according to Mom and Miss Manda. That means playing at home with my toys. It is fun but not that exciting. Mom and Dad keep talking about the weather and more snow. Maybe that means more sledding for me. I can hardly wait. Here is picture of me and all of my horses. I can not wait for spring so I can go see my real horse, Buttercup. I am too excited about that.

Today was too much fun--I went sledding down a huge hill with my babysitter and my friend Karis. It was awesome! Check out my pics. We had way too much fun. If you can't tell, I am the one bundled up in the white snowsuit and pink hat.

Harlem GlobeTrotters

Today I went to see the Globetrotters. It was awesome! I loved when they ran up and down the court and passed the ball the whole way. They could spin the ball on their finger, head, or nose! Then they would dance and sing. Plus I got my own popcorn. Last time we went to Cheedom Hall to see the rodeo in November Dad only bought 1 popcorn and ate almost the entire thing. Today he got one and I got one too! Life does not get much better than this!

My Granny Had a 95th Birthday Party

Today I got to go to a party. Mom said this was a super special party because it was for Granny. She was 95. She said not many people make it to be that old. I had a great time. I played with all my cousins, ate lots of junk food and cake, and was the center of attention from half the adults there. What a great day!

When Good Dogs Get Revenge

Let me just tell you something about my parents--they are mean! To begin with they are ALWAYS telling me to leave the dog alone. "Kara get off the dog, Kara stop riding the dog, Kara leave Bandit's ears alone, Kara stop bothering the dog." I mean the only time they want me to do anything with the dog is when he wants in or out and I have to go and open or close the door. AND tonight they let the dog aka Mr. Bandit attack me. He licked my cheeks, my lips, up my nose, my neck, my hands--anything he could reach. Mom and Dad just laughed. How humiliating. AND my Nina was here and she just laughed too. I get no respect.

My New Nightgown and Video Game

Today Miss Amanda came over and told me we had some places to visit. First we went to Papaw Siebert's house. While we were over there she had me try on this really cool new gown. She made it just for me. My Miss Manda sure loves me alot! Then we went to Mahaya's house. I had not seen Mahaya for so long! Before Christmas I think. She still had a present for me. It was a really cool video game you plug into the tv. Check me out!

I Found Some Lipstick

Today was a great day! Mom had to work and Dad needed to get some things done so I got to spend the whole day at Mamaw and Papaw's house. The only rule is don't get hurt. I played chase and catch with Papaw and made cookies with Mamaw. I also got to drink hot chocolate--bet you could not guess that one! THEN I found Mamaw's makeup! I snuck home a tube of lipstick in my purse. When I got home I had to put my things away. I went to my playroom and tried on my new lipstick. When I came downstairs Mom and Dad could not quit laughing. I thought I did a beautiful job. Mom wanted to take a picture, but since she laughed at me I did not want to let her. She snuck a few anyway.

Okay--you need to look really closely at this picture. Can you see him? Can you see it? My friend David is sitting in the middle of the blanket. He has a slingshot and shoots really big giants. He is a handsome prince. Also there is my magic crystal next to him. I use it to save my other handsome prince Daniel, just like Oddette from Swan Lake. I have many friends that Mom and Dad have a hard time seeing. Just the other day (on Munsdays) I went to the grocery with Dad and he threw groceries on Donkey in the grocery cart. Then he put me in the Tahoe but forgot Fiona and Shrek. What a silly man.

Getting Ready for Bed

Mom had to work today and she said it was really busy. When she came home she was very tired and said it was going to be an early night. I missed her so much today I conned her into letting me lay in her and dad's bed and watch a movie. Of course, Mr. Bandit had to join us!

Play Day

Today I went to Aunt Kat's to visit with my Nina. Ellie and I played hard all morning and early afternoon. I decided to be supergood today while at Aunt Kat's. I made Nina so proud.

Howerver, when I got home I did not like what I found--Mom and Dad are taking down all the Christmas decortations and were really busy. This upset me, so I have not been so nice. I REFUSED to take a nap and have been cranky because of this. Mom and Dad are just a little impatient with me and I don't know why. I mean really, if I change my mind 4000 times a minute and whine a little, what's the big deal? They said bedtime tonight is at 9pm--we'll see about that. Right now I am going between my play room and the living room seeing how many toys I can drag out and how many movies I can start on how many tvs. Right now I have 3 tvs with 3 movies and 2 frazzled parents. Life does not get any better than this. I am queen of the toddler world and they know it. Man they look tired. I think now is a good time to get out my electric guitar and microphone...

Doctors, doctors, doctors

Happy New Year everybody! I am not sure what the bid deal is, but everyone keeps saying. I thought I should say it too.

Well I was doing pretty good Thursday so Mom and Dad decided to go to Uncle Mike's and Aunt Vikkie's for a New Year's Day party after Mom got home from work. Man, they have some crazy dogs. The dogs are ALOT smaller than Mr. Bandit and alot more energetic. I would not know what to do with these dogs--everytime I moved fast they barked. Needless to say I kept moving so the dogs barked all night long. Things got especially crazy when Dad got out the Wii. We all played games. My favorite was boxing (I have a really mean boxing face) and my new Dora game. We were just getting things going with MarioKart when Mom said it was time to pack things up and go home. What a party pooper! When we got home she was so sleepy that Dad had to get me ready for bed. I conned 4 stories out of Dad before lights out!

This morning I woke up feeling really bad again. I threw up at 7am so Mom and Dad decided it was time for a trip to the doctor. Mom had to go to work, but Dad said things were slow for him so he could take me. Then Mom got sick too. This meant she had to go to the doctor too.

My doctor, Ms. Stephanie was off so I had to see a different doctor, Dr. Belza. He was really nice. He liked the note Mom sent with Dad. After Dad and the doctor talked, they decided I have acid reflux. Twice a day I get some really yummy medicine. So far it has worked GREAT. My belly has stopped hurting and I am eating all the time. I felt so good that I called Nina and Poppie and asked if I could stay all night with them. They came and got me around 6pm. But at 9pm I decided I missed my Dad and wanted to go home. Nina brought me home and said she would come and get me in the morning and we would go play with Aunt Kat and Ellie.

Mom's doctor's appt was fine. Kyle's heart rate was perfect and he is gaining weight. Mom just needs to drink lots of water and eat more.
